The London Eye

At 135m, The London Eye is the world’s largest cantilevered observation wheel. It was conceived and designed by Marks Barfield Architects and was launched in 2000. It has already won over 75 awards for national and international tourism, outstanding architectural quality and engineering achievement and has now welcomed over 30 million visitors.

Facilities
The following facilities are located in County Hall, the building next to The London Eye.

Tickets and check-in
In the ticket office you’ll find:
 
1.Ticket sales desks for same day and advance ticket purchases.
 
2.Ticket dispensing machines for collection of pre-booked tickets. You need to bring the same credit/debit card used to make the booking to collect your tickets. No money is taken at the ticket dispensing machines.
 
3.Priority check-in desks for Private Capsules, Champagne Flights and Fast Track ticket holders. This is located at the front of the ticket office. Please check-in 15 minutes prior to your flight. You will need to bring your confirmation letter and reference number with you.
 
4.Check-in desks for group bookings, disabled guests and Merlin Annual Pass holders.
 
5.Customer service information desk to help answer any queries you may have.
 
Left luggage and buggy area
 
1.Unfortunately, we not do have any left luggage facilities at the London Eye. Left luggage facilities can be found at Waterloo mainline station, which is a five minute walk from the London Eye. To see a comprehensive list of items allowed onto the London Eye, please check the safety and security section of this website.
 
2.Buggies and pushchairs are permitted onto the London Eye. Buggies and pushchairs must be folded completely flat and all items removed before joining the final boarding queue and remain folded while on board the London Eye. Facilities are available inside the ticket office for buggies which are fixed and can not be folded down.

 3.Baby changing facilities are provided.

Fully accessible
1.There is full disabled access on to the London Eye and within County Hall, which incorporates the ticket office, café and disabled toilets.

2.Customer toilet facilities are available within County Hall.
 
Gift shop and cafés
1.The London Eye gift shop is located next to the London Eye wheel, opposite the ticket office entrance. The gift shop offers a range of high quality London Eye gifts and souvenirs to help make your flight on the London Eye special. Gifts and souvenirs include photography, guidebooks and in-flight mini guides.
 
2.Zen Cafe offers a range of tea, coffee, drinks, sandwiches, cakes and snacks. There are two cafes: one inside County Hall and one opposite the gift shop, with great views of the London Eye.
